Borderland State Park Engagement Sneak PeekOctober 29, 2010

engagement session borderland state park and wrentham state forest
Borderland State Park and the Wrentham State Forest was the setting for this engagements portraits above. Here’s a quick sneak peek from this past weekend with Kate and Brian down here on the South Shore. The locations were beautiful and even though it was a cold fall morning where you could see your breath in the air we couldn’t have asked for a better time. The couple were real troopers and got into the shoot.

If you’re down this way check out the park. It’s a hidden jewel amongst Massachusetts State Parks.

Borderland State Park – A Portrait SessionOctober 28, 2010

Kids Portraits at Borderland State Park Massachusetts
Just a few images from a recent children’s portrait session of  the beautiful Clang girls and their cousin Ben at Borderland State Park which is on the border between Easton and Sharon, MA.

Heather and Caroline are the double trouble sisters and…gulp..we’ve known each other since 1980 in 6th grade. The one on the right in the top images, Olivia is like her momma. TROUBLE!

To see more on lifestyle photography check out this POST from last winter on a day of sliding in Maine with the Schultzel kids.

Brookside Club in Bourne – The Wedding DayOctober 19, 2010

Just a few that caught my eye while editing the lovely wedding of Jess and Brian that took place at the Brookside Club in Bourne on September 4th. It was a great day and these two really knew how to enjoy their day and all their family and friends. There will be a slide show up early next week with a ton of photos! The last image was made at the end of the evening. It’s exhibit “A” on why I like to stick around through a reception instead of cutting out after the first few dances.

I had the privilege of shooting the e-session of Andrea and Trevor on Columbus Day weekend. Trevor flew into town for the long weekend from Chicago to visit Andrea at BC as she’s here for the next year in a post-grad program. They wanted something with the feeling of Boston as they are getting married next summer in Mankato, Minnesota and it was important for them to document their time in the city. We started at the ICA and then wandered through the Boston Public Gardens before ending on Marlborough Street in the Back Bay. We could not have asked for a better day and things were moving along so fast that we lost track of time and what turned into a 2.5 hour session wound up being 4 hours! When you lose track of time you know you’re having a good time.
